Our Four-year-old Kindergarten groups are for children who are 4 years old by April 30.

The Four-year-old Kindergarten Programs are led by experienced Teachers with a Bachelor of Early Childhood, supported by experienced educators with Diploma qualifications.  The team is also supported by a Director, Educational Leader and the Monash Health Allied Health Team.

For most children this is their second year of kindergarten. The focus shifts from creating security and relationships to extending the children’s skills and thinking in play-based learning. Social skills and thinking are practiced as they play more together.

Literacy, Maths, Science/Nature, Music, Drama, Art, Movement/Wellbeing and Aboriginal Perspectives are all elements of our Program, and we are informed by The Early Years Learning Framework (Department Of Education, Employment, And Workplace Relations & Council Of Australian Governments, 2009; 2023).
